An awful lot of great tackles on that list. Most of them are fairly obvious choices, also, except for #73 and #80.

Rufus Mayes deserves a mention at #73, though. He was an All-American OT on the NC team in 1968.

Woops, I screwed up, I didn't look close enough when researching Mr. Mayes. I actually had him as the best #82, but your right he wore #73 to end his fantastic buckeye career in 1968. #82 was worn in 67. I'll make the changes right away, and in doing so, BB73 where would you put Mayes on the list of #73, which is just loaded! Ahead of Davidson, or just behind him and above Jacoby?

Well, I decided to go with Mayes at the top of the honorable mentions, even though, I'm a huge fan of Jacoby's. Let me know if you disagree with that high of a ranking for Mayes, but he seemed to be a pretty dominant tackle from what I've heard and read about him.
