Don't know if it is in Maumee, but I think it is anyways, they have a pep rally thing you can go to. I had the chance to go but will be in Columbus anyways. It is a fund raiser for local bands that they play at. I went to it a couple years ago (2003) and it was at the Stranahan Theater, haven't looked recently but I threw out the paper when I knew I couldn't go.

does anyone know the name of the cheer of, and where I could possibly download - it goes O - H - I-Oooooooooooooo on the last "O" everyone moves their arms in a circular motion. I'd like to have it on CD if anyone has any idea which Buckeye CD would have this cheer I'd really appreciate it. Hopefully they'll play it tonight when they perform in Toledo--I Can't wait!!!
Thanks and
Go Bucks!!!!

Are you talking about the one that the drums play a cadence while the fans/band do the O-H-I-Ooooooo?

Sadly, I don't remember ever knowing a name for it, though I'm sure it must have one. I'll dig around a little and see if I can find anything, but if there's any drummers lurking, they'd probably know it.

Before I say this, let me preface, that I didn't actually make the band. My experience is with the basketball band and the Spring Band. Now, everytime we played this, (mind you it was over 10 years ago) it was basically started by squad captains. Three rim knocks on the snare followed by going down the tri-toms (yes I know we're at quints now) to start it off.
