As for Cal, I think they end up winning 10 or 11 games. Their backfield is excellent, their D is pretty darn good, and if Longshore was looking pretty good before he got injured last year.
By the way, I have both in my top 10.

According to Fatty Weis, Tenneessee has the best defense in the Nation.

It wasn't going to be loud and crazy before the rankings came out?

I'm not too worried. Eric Lichter has prepared the team to be hunters, killers ... efficient predators. Once he unleashes the lions, cheetahs, and bears on the unsuspecting gazelles impersonating UT quarterbacks, the crowd will fall silent.
I anticipate Pitcock redefines the expression "big mauler."

Maybe the coaches see them for what they really are - a decent team with a [censored]ty schedule.

I don't think Ohio State will see anything like they did in State College last year for quite a while. Well, unless we are undefeated going into the Michigan game and senior day this year. Can you imagine the ovation Troy will receive this year if that's the case?
