"THE" - They don't even know why they emphasize the word "THE" in talking about their university, but everyone affiliated with their school is quick to point out it is THE Ohio State University.
|
I noticed that they didn't name the website "hatebuckeyes.com" Maybe it's due to the need for the word "THE".

I wonder if this means that the Buckeyes have officially passed Notre Dame and Michigan State to become scUM's biggest rival?
Well everyone, atleast we know that the Buckeyes recent success vs. Michigan hasn't gone unnoticed. The only question now is whether or not those jackasses are capable of doing anything about it.
I just got extremely giddy all of a sudden. Like when you know the answer to a question that a bunch of other people (read Michigan fans) don't have a clue about.
Being from Fremont, Ohio, I believe the Cooper years hurt the Buckeye fans in this town more than they would have if we had lived somewhere else in Ohio seeing how one of our own went up north and had such sickening success against our team. Losing to Michigan hurts regardless, but losing to Michigan with an Ohio kid leading the charge makes the loss all the more hard to swallow.
This is why I believe that this 2006 season is a pivotal point in the greatest rivalry in sports. A Buckeye victory this November could very well have serious adverse effects on scUM's ability to recruit the state of Ohio (atleast as it involves Ohio kids that are also offered by Ohio State).
Nobody likes to lose or be associated with a loser.
Consider this. If things go as planned this November that will mean that for those high school football players, who are currently in their senior year, they will have watched Ohio State beat Michigan in their senior year, junior year, sophomore year, eighth grade year, and seventh grade year. These kids will have also watched scUM drop multiple Bowl games in a row while the Buckeyes have won 4 straight. We are approaching a point where an entire generation of Ohio kids have grown up watching Ohio State win and Michigan lose.
Nobody likes to be associated with a loser. Garfield was right about what rhymes with wolverine and every high school football player in Ohio, if they have been paying attention, probably knows the same thing.
No more Charles Woodson's!!!
The scUM fans on that web site are in deeper [censored] than they realize!!!
Go Buckeyes!!!
