I think the Bucks made history tonight . . .
Consider the following:
According to Stassen.com, the three winningest programs of all time through the end of the 2005 season and therefore as of the beginning (and I'm pretty sure the end) of tonight's tOSU-UT game are:
1 Michigan 0.74421 849 280 36 1165
2 Notre Dame 0.74352 811 266 42 1119
3 Texas 0.71697 803 307 33 1143
I rather doubt that any other program has ever beaten the three winningest programs of all time (as of the time of the victories) in a four-game span. I don't know how one would check something like that, but I've sent the question on to Pete Fiutak at collegefootballnews.com for further review. Maybe he'll address it at some point . . .

Very good question. Come November, we'll also probably be the first to beat them all in the same calender year.

Musberger said that it's the first time that #1 has ever gone on the road and held #2 to single digits...
the significance will continue to grow...

think about this:
until the final drive, Garrett Wolfe gained more yards against the Silver Bullets than Texas... the Horns entered the last posession with 284 yards...

And NIU also scored more points on us than did Texas--at our place, to boot.
