Haven't read much about him this spring. With scum going to the spread and Illinois perfecting it, it seems Rolles's speed and hitting ability would be good against the spread.
|
Rolle had his knee scoped and has been limited. But no matter how you slice it there is a log jam at LB.

Even that wasn't "waxed". Barely converting on third down three or four times in a row isn't waxing you opponent. Wish we'd spied on Williams that last drive.

They(Illinois) played a near perfect game. And it STILL took a blown call to win it for them.
Makes you wonder what if that call had gone the other way?
But, give them credit for their best performance of last year.

Thanks - hope he recovers fully and can contribute this year. Yes, there are a lot of good linebackers - nice problem to have - hopefully the coaches can find ways to use all of their unique talents.

Well, maybe not a full Brazilian Waxing, but one could argue they sure yanked us by the the short hairs... ... Ouch!
They were a mediocre team at best that we made look great, a huge underdog, and they won in the Horseshoe to boot - call it what you will.
Barely or not they moved the chains when it counted - we did not. A LB like Rolle (speed/hitting ability) would be an excellnt way to spy a spread QB like Williams.

Rivals.com$
Florida Sophmore increasing his rolle..............Rolle is looking forward to earning more playing time and currently checks in at 5-11 and 223 pounds while maintaining his 4.5 speed. Rolle has been working along side Ross Homan at the Will position.

I hope we see some more special teams play like last year. I like seeing the missle heading downfield...

I'd like to see Rolle get some reps occasionally to spill Homan. Just to see what hes got. He's got all the upside in the world. I'm not sure if he'll ever get the shot he deserves with this years LB class and the one we got coming in next year.
