The robo td drive started inside the twenty. Two rushes, 1 5 yd penalty, and OSU had a 3rd and 9. It was a passing down. I think JT is conservative when he is not as confident in his offensive personnel (02, 03, early 04, early 05). When his offense is clicking (late 04, late 05, 06), he doesn't mind attacking.

Bingo...
It had nothing to do with getting a TD for Robiskie, it had nothing to do with getting stats for Troy's Heisman race. It had everything to do with the fact that, even with a sack, it was an easy field goal at that point. A sack is the same as a short run at that point, so why not take a shot if you have a quarterback that you TRUST COMPLETELY to not turn the ball over.
Tresselball is still Tresselball. But what it translates to on the field depends on how much you can trust your quaterback. Troy can put immense pressure on a defense while maintaining Tresselian ball-security. Saturday night's door-slammer was Tresselball at its finest.

Good bye streak. Anyone in their right mind should have expected a closer game versus a in state rival. Tressel will never blow out the in state recruit. Why [censored] of the parents of local boys who may come to OSU?
