Wilson has an offer already so I'm thinking he's a "plan A" guy.

Soudns about right Manny. Also, about Sweat, i don't hesitate to say he ends up a Buckeye. Everything just seems sor gith with him. He being at the scUM game, friends with Brewster (mainly) and then coming in this weekend just to visit. His interest in us is very high and nothing leads me to believe anything different.

Good question...
A) I think it is too early to prioritize recruits other than by those that have offers and those that do not. And even those that do not should not be considered "Plan B".
B) I don't think it is fair to use "Plan A" and "Plan B". A kid without an offer who comes to camp and puts on a show and earns an offer is not a "Plan B" player. Or a kid who puts together a spectacular senior season and earns himself an offer is not a "Plan B" player. Guys like Major and Beachum could fit into that category. Some guys just take longer to develop or to show their talents to the staff and thus take longer to earn offers.
C) Despite JT's three-tiered recruiting approach, LB recruiting in particular is interesting beacuse you have to take into account what position they project at. Hale looks like a MIKE to me, whereas Sweat looks like a SAM. I suspect there may be a few other LB offers that go out at some point if in fact guys like Hines and Moeller end up at safety, as has been speculated. The staff may project Beachum as a WILL but want to see him in person before deciding if he is the WILL they will offer.

I am with you here...I am sure they have guys that go sideways on the board, and you just take the best to verbal...There are guys like Hale that you will try and hold out for due to how good they are...But I think we might see a little pressure this year in terms of telling them either take it or someone else might jump on it b4 you...

Agreed wad and 40...I don't think we should call them plan b's but there are some I'm sure we'd prefer. My honest opinion is that Hale, Zordich, and Sweat with the possibility of Torrence playing LB and Zordich playing FB is ideal at this point. Wilson looked good but I honestly think those 3 are better.
