OSU #1 Scoring D?
As I post this Georgia has given up 21 points. By my calculations that puts OSU within 1 point of having the #1 scoring defense in the country. Today they have already passed three of the four SEC teams who were ahead of them. One more score by Tenn and we lead.
Go Bucks!

Just goes to show you UGA's defense was a product of playing awful offenses.

I think we are now.

Anyway, I read if you're related to somebody who has played at Ohio State, they will put you on their practice squad. But that doesn't mean you'll dress for the games though. When I go to Ohio State to major in Sports Journalism, this is what I am going to do. I won't stop there, because I will try to dress and make the team.

As of 9/30 we were topped by 4 SEC teams.
Georgia at 6.8 points per game over 5 games - that stat is blown open by the 51 points the Vols dumped on them.
LSU - at 7.4 points per game over 5 games, they gave up 23 to Florida, making their new average 10.0
Auburn which rode in with 8.2 points per game on 5 games and then got dunned by Arkansas (!?!) for 27 points to yield a new average of 11.3
Florida which was just better than the Buckeyes at 9.4 point per game over 5 gave up 10 points (presumably to stop Les Miles from looking quite that bad) now sports an average of 9.5.
Then the previously 5th place Buckeyes - coming in at 9.8 ppg, allowed only 7 points on Defense to Bowling Green, which by a very slim margin does indeed place them at the top of the chart with a current ppg average of 9.3 (recurring).
Rutgers was idle and Louiosville let Mid Tenn St drop 17 popints on their D, so one remains at 10.0 ppg, the other moves downward.

Blasphemy! Arkansas, Florida and Tennessee just got lucky over and over and over again.
EDIT: Oh, and USC got really, super-ridiculous-tastically lucky laying a 50-14 decision on Arkansas.
