Buckeyes' Most Satisfying Victory
Please vote for the Buckeyes' victory which you find the most satisfying. I voted for Michigan 2002 (that was the meat, Fiesta Bowl was the gravy).

'02 Michigan.
(Oh '01 was nice... real nice) But they had effed things up for us so many times in the past... and they jsut assumed they would do it again... so I was very happy that we were fortunate enough to get by them.

That's a tough one. Either scUM in '02 or Miami. scUM had ruined our title hopes so many times before and Miami was the unbeatable, king of college football. The satisfaction of shocking the world was priceless.

Probably michigan, at our house, in '02. Proved that '01 wasn't a fluke, and also marked the first time in a long time that we followed through on the season and didn't let the weasels spoil it for us.
That, and obviously the NC game in Tempe. My first trip to a bowl game. Incredible. The '01 victory over michigan was great, too. I loved being at the game in the pig house, singing "Carmen Ohio" after beating them in their own backyard.

Gotta go with the '03 Fiesta Bowl. I'd never been brought to tears amongst so many dear friends from OSU. Dang, I'm getting tingles just thinking about it

Any win over scUM is awfully satisfying but for me it has to be the Fiesta Bowl victory over Miami. After hearing for over a month how they didn't belong on the same field as Miami, they didn't have Florida speed and they were going to get blown out, etc., it made the win that much sweeter.

I had to say the '97 Rose Bowl simply because it was my first Bowl game trip and it felt so good to actually pull out a victory from the jaws of defeat after so many heartbreaking losses...

Well, I certainly didn't contribute much LJB, but thanks.
I went with the 03 Fiesta. Just too much drama and intrigue for an entire season and then to cap it with such an incredible finish ... against all odds ... That season and win is what all these trite phrases and overused sayings were created for. But DAMN, there are some GREAT games on that list LJB. It was a very difficult choice.

Gotta be the 2003 Fiesta Bowl. To win the NC when we were a big underdog even topped the wins over tsun.

I'm with Nutty. It's difficult not to point out a win over scUM as one of the greatest victories but the NC game left me walking on a cloud for a couple of weeks.
I also liked the wins over ND as I won a nice chunk of cash two years in a row with those victories.  A friend of mine is a ND fan. He talked trash all the time and I got him to put his money where his mouth was. It was like taking candy from a baby.
