This article states that the Big Ten Network has contracts with DirecTV, Comcast, and TimeWarner.

SEC explores launching its own TV network
BATON ROUGE ? Imagine ESPN not over-covering the NFL, not focusing on the NBA and the NHL and focusing on what many believe is the No. 1 college football conference in the nation minus all those self-serving commercials and anchors.
And you might have the "SEC-PN" network, or the Southeastern Conference Entertainment Network.
"No question, there would be football and basketball on it," SEC commissioner Mike Slive said recently at the SEC spring meetings. "I think there's something like 8,720 hours of programming available. Obviously, part of that would have to be significant football and basketball. The other piece that our presidents and chancellors are very interested in is it would create an outlet for non-athletic content from our universities, which have good communication schools. There are a lot of events on our respective campuses that might find their way onto an SEC network."

I'm confused about this statement. If you live in Little Rock, and the Buckeyes are on ABC, but so is Oklahoma, then Gameplan gave you the ability to see the Bucks (instead of the local ABC game showing the Sooners). I'm not sure how that situation has changed. Is ABC not going to have regional telecasts anymore?

According to the Columbus Dispatch, there will be 3 OSU football games on the Big Ten Network. Youngstown State and Akron, both noon starting times. The conference game will be announced later(probably Northwestern).

The Gameplan is still a must have if you live out of state. I live in Florida and plan on geting it again this year. I will have the BTN on Directv, so I'll be covered.

OK, here's the question I have...will you REALLY be covered with BTN? My understanding is that there will be multiple games covered by BTN at the same time. I don't KNOW that DirecTV will be televising all of them. So it's possible that if two games are on simultaneously, that you might only see, for example, the TSUN vs Crap U game and the Bucks game would not be on in your area. Now, DirecTV MIGHT be televising both games...they certainly have the option to, but I'm not clear on whether they've dedicated the extra bandwidth to televise the extra games that BTN will televise at the same time. Have you confirmed anything?
