On TW I now get 22 stations. BTN, FOX, CBS, Playboy Channel and PBS from 18 different cities.

Since the BTN moved to channel 610 on DirecTV I wonder where they will fit the other games on Saturday ? The channels around 610 are occupied.

Ohio State football: Time Warner and Big Ten Network reach deal

Time Warner Cable and the Big Ten Network have reached a deal that will allow Time Warner subscribers to see Saturday's Ohio State season-opener on the network and full Big Ten Network programming.
The handshake deal is done with some details to follow, but the Network will be available on Time Warner's expanded basic service, according to a Time Warner spokesperson.
With 1 million customers in Northeast Ohio and 2.5 million in the Big Ten region, Time Warner was the largest remaining cable carrier in the Big Ten states without a Big Ten Network deal. Prior to this agreement, only 40 percent of households in Ohio had access to the year-old network, which will televise three of Ohio State's first five football games this season.
The deal came after the two sides traded strongly worded letters in the public forum on Friday, with the Big Ten Network calling one Time Warner offer a "publicity stunt." The sides worked through the weekend to get the deal done.

Great! I guess...we already called to switch, DirecTV is coming thursday, and what if, for some odd reason, BTN isn't ready by Saturday and we cancel DirecTV? Good to see they reached a deal but I wish it would've been sooner.

Time Warner Cable and the Big Ten Network announced Monday, Aug. 25, that they have reached an agreement-in-principle on terms of carriage for the Big Ten Network and its high-definition and video-on-demand programming on Time Warner Cable's line-ups throughout the Big Ten territory, including Ohio and Wisconsin.
The pending agreement will ensure that Time Warner Cable's customers across these Big Ten states will have access to this Saturday's Big Ten college football season openers and all future Big Ten Network programming on an expanded basic level of service.
The Ohio State-Youngstown State game will be available on Time Warner on Saturday.

The Big Ten Network and Time Warner Cable reached an agreement in principle for the year-old cable network to be carried in time for Ohio State's season opener against Youngstown State on Saturday.
The deal calls for Time Warner to carry the channel on expanded basic on all of its systems in the eight states where Big Ten schools operate.
''We have a handshake deal with Fox [the Big Ten Network's partner] that will ensure that Time Warner customers will be able to watch the game this weekend,'' said Bill Jasso, Time Warner's vice president for government affairs and media relations. ''And we are confident that we'll reach a deal for carriage shortly.''

Chalk up a victory for Buckeye fans in a struggle between two national powers. Late last night, Time Warner Cable and the Big Ten Network reached a deal allowing the country's second-largest cable company to carry the year-old network's programming.
That means Ohio State football fans who subscribe to Time Warner will be able to watch the team's season opener Saturday against Youngstown State -- and subsequent games carried by the network -- from the comfort of home.
The agreement ends a yearlong stalemate between the dominant cable company in central Ohio and BTN, which is to broadcast three of the first five OSU games this season, including the Sept. 27 Big Ten opener against Minnesota.
Terms of the agreement were not immediately available, but Time Warner and network officials issued the following joint statement last night:
