Well this is just wonderful, I have to travel across the world to see BTN....but getting it on Cox Cable in Las Vegas is impossible. Guess I'll be going to Mexico for a couple games this season

2003 National Title Game on Big 10 Network Right Now
The 2nd Quarter is about to end, so you still have the 2nd Half and Overtime to go.

Random Thoughts on This Game (I havent watched it since 2003):

1. Why does Ken Dorsey suck sooo much now in the pros? I mean I never thought he would start in the pros, but he is the worst pro QB I've ever seen. He has easily gotten worst since college. It has to be lower confidence or picking up bad habits. His footwork was much better in the past.

2. McGahee hasnt been the same since the injury

3. Clarrett. I still cant believe you threw away quite possibly the best career in Buckeye RB history.

4. I miss Chris Gamble

5. Both teams uniforms look much better back then. Miami's uniforms look like [censored] now compared to then, and our uniforms look better. They just look smooth that night.

Already knowing that it's competition, is there a specific reason why some from ESPN still refer to the Big Ten Network as a "Mom and Pop" operation?

I found something funny when I watched the ESPNU Big Ten Preview Tuesday. ESPNU was using Pelestra/U-Wire reporters (college kids).

I really think ESPNU is more "Mom and Pop" than the Big Ten Network due to this.

I just got the sports package which includes the BTN. I do have a queston though if the games are not being played on ESPN or ABC will they air them on the BTN?

In my experience, U-Verse is a great concept with awful execution. I had it for 3 months and went back to TWC. They [censored]ed up the order, the installation, and the billing. Everything is tied to you modem. If your internet has a hiccup, then your TVs go down, and everything has to reboot. In the 3 months that I had it, I had everything go out around two dozen times.

I know that BB73 likes his U-Verse in Chicago, and maybe once it's been in Columbus for a little while, they'll get better, but my experience with U-Verse was that it had all of the drawbacks of satellite, without the convenience of cable, or the HD quality of satellite or cable.

The remainder of the games that do not air on ESPN/ABC will air on the Big Ten Network. They'll either air on the main channel or one of the overflow BTN channels.

The Toledo game is on ESPN Plus/ESPN Gameplan. Depending on where you live, you may not be able to see that game on cable/satellite without paying extra for it.

Each Big Ten team must appear at least once per season on BTN. Indiana has already been announced as a night game on BTN.

All of the other games should be on either ABC/ESPN/ESPN2/BTN. I'll be surprised of any of the games are on ESPNU.

The announcements for the TV schedule are usually made on a Monday, 12 days before game day.
