Big 10 Network, Time Warner still in talks

COLUMBUS ? A resounding chorus of boos matched a mention of the Big Ten Network at Saturday's Ohio State game.
The Ohio State University's second game of the year, against Akron this coming Saturday, will also air on the recently launched Big Ten Network. However, there has been little progress in the talks between the network and Time Warner Cable, NBC 4 reported.
"We are still in negotiations," Judy Barbao, a Time Warner spokesperson, confirmed. "But we have not been able to reach that agreement that would allow us to bring the channel to our customers yet."

We were considering changing to a satellite system before all of this. But as of right now, we're sticking with TWC out of principal.

All i can say is this just made me go out today and get Directv, i have tons of channels i dont watch but must pay for so their reasoning is flawed! Im not waiting i seen their cable lineup today and as of right now only THREE buckeye games all year are on it at this very point in time...they are the washington, Penn State and Michigan games, which are ALL subject to change!!! I wont miss another game and ill save 30 bucks in the process by ditching my cable tv service and still keeping their phone and internet LOL that is absurd. How can i Drop down my bill 100 bucks by taking cable tv off and keeping phone and internet while at the same time getting directv with nfl network and b10 network plus every other channel TW offers and then some. If they give me a hassel about it ill ditch phone too and save another 25 on my bill as well and get vonage. Totally rediculous that TWC has reduced to this....not to mention i just got my bill and it went up 3 bucks....WTF why did it go up 3 bucks lol they didnt add any channels other than espnhd espn2hd and espnU...sorry that isnt worth 3 bucks for espnu cause i dont have hd so am not paying for espn2hd or espnhd. will be a very happy camper come friday! Saving 30 bucks and seeing every buckeye game again thats what its all about! BTW even if i pay 5 extra per outlet past the two i use now thats only 1 or 2 tv's at 5 bucks each, do the math for two thats 10 bucks so i am still saving 20 if i add 2 tv's later lol....there is no reason NOT to switch.

I've never had an issue during a snow storm......

mainly only the heaviest rain here knocks it out and that's only for a minute at the most.
