p.s. being a vengeful and unforgiving soul..., does anyone know of any public sources of information that would show how many Time Warner subscribers have jumped ship to either DirecTV, Insight cable, or (now) the Dish network? I'd be FASCINATED to see the numbers, whatever they show.

They only trouble that i have had with dish is they have had to replace the transponder three times and the reciever 2 in an 8 month span. Other than that i wouldn't trade it. The installer even put in his notes for my record that i needed a new tv. About two months later it died, had to go out and get an HD. Gotta love it when those things happen.

Tina: (She's now laughing at this point) Well sir, all I can tell you is their still negotiating and perhaps at this point they'll realize they've got the wrong people sitting on both sides of the table.
Me: No kidding Tina, you seem like a smart girl, any chance we can get you in there this afternoon to wrap this deal up?
Tina: No, not likely... sorry!
Me: Well it was worth a shot, I don't need anymore RR than what I've got, but I do look forward to your delightful phone call in the future to personally tell me I've now got BTN. BUT so we're clear, don't call back unless you're going to tell me this, ok?
Tina: Okay well sir you have a nice day.

Glad I read the paper before I headed to work this morning. DishNetwork now has the B10 network and I recorded the YSU game while at work. I must say the picture is much sharper than ABC and ESPN. Hope it continues throughout the season.

Interesting, I thought it looked poor on insight cable (very harsh shadows, not as crisp), but I think I have basic cable (comes with the place).

Received a broadcast schedule e-mail from BTN. Butler By'not'e is the analyst for the Eastern Illinois at Purdue game. There's also a Scott Graham doing play-by-play for the Bowling Green at Michigan State game (could it be Scottie Graham?). Of course, we already have another Buckeye football alum doing games for BTN (Mike Tomczak).
