I guess the 2009 game is the one before the USC game? I imagine an Ohio team will fill that void.
I believe the 2010 game was supposed to be AFTER the Miami game, so I expect another cupcake.
I though Eastern Michigan was added to the schedule on its own, not as a replacement for Army? Is that information wrong?

You're correct; EMU is not a replacement for one of the Army games. The Army game that year was scheduled for 9/18/2010, which is now 'TBA'.

Without starting a completly different thread on this... Who would some of you like to see as a replacement series for Army?
Maybe?
FIU- Just as much of a cupcake as Eastern Mich. Heavy recruiting in Miami area.
Kentucky- A little more of a challange, but it's fun to play neighbors.
Pitt- Another neighborhood rumble.
I actually was in Boston this past week arguing about the strength of the ACC top to bottom vs The Big 10. ACC/Big 10 Challange in football would be sick. For fun here's a mock.
Ohio State vs Florida State (since we already have Miami on schedule)
Michigan vs Miami (Fla)
Michigan State vs Maryland
Iowa vs Georgia Tech
Wisconsin vs Virginia Tech
Penn State vs Boston College
Purdue vs Wake Forest
Minnesota vs North Carolina State
Indiana vs Duke
Northwestern vs Virginia
Illinois Vs North Carolina (up-in-comers with good recruiting coaches)
Clemson will have to sit this one out. It would be fun.

I would like to see that Rutgers matchup. We've got an inroads to NJ and the additional exposure in New York would be great.
That ACC/Big10 matchup would be a lot of fun, but no way you could leave out Clemson they're one of the better schools and playing in "Death Valley" would be really cool.
I'd also have to say that the Big10 wins that matchup 7 out of 10 years at the current rate we are going. Maybe it would shift but as of right now we'd smoke em imo. Also Wisky has to be our 3rd team if not our 2nd.

Since I was bored I figured I'd give some predictions on these matchups.

Michigan State vs Maryland- This year I would say Mich St. wins 21-20.
Iowa vs Georgia Tech- Not close. GTech would embarass Iowa. 31-13.
Wisconsin vs Virginia Tech- The best game in the entire schedule. Wisky wins a close, low scoring game. 17-13.
Penn State vs Boston College- Penn State 10 at BC. At PSU 3TDs. 31-10.
Purdue vs Wake Forest- Shootout city. Purdue 45-35.
Minnesota vs North Carolina State- The chest wins this one, Minny's in trouble. 24-14.
Indiana vs Duke- Duke might be the worst team in IA. 27-20.
Northwestern vs Virginia - NW defense has to get better. 23-17 because of Sutton.
Illinois Vs North Carolina - Just have a feeling. Illinois will be good in two years though. 30-24.
Clemson will have to sit this one out. It would be fun.

If Clemson replaces Duke, its a 6-5 advantage Big10 or better. Without I'd say 8-3 or 7-4 Big10. Any games played @Wiscky, The Shoe, Pig House or Happy Valley go the Big10's way 9 out of 10. Maybe the same for Clemson in Death Valley also or VaTech/Miami.
That is fun I say we do it.

I don't think sitting out the team with the most ACC football titles in the history of the conference would work. I'd switch Clemson in for BC, the newcomer.

ACC vs Big 10? Fine, make it the 4th Saturday in November and give FSU and Miami a shot of real football weather.
