Among the contenders only USC losing by two can argue they were in a winnable game - and that one was not as close as the score indicates.
Really remarkable when you think about it.
I guess that's why I remarked.
And another good argument for the OSU-Michigan loser should that be a close game.

A couple of significant comments on this.
First, Notre Dame lost by 26.
Second, Florida was down by 1 until Auburn kicked a FG with 31 seconds left. Then the gave up a defensive TD on a multiple lateral play when they were desperate in the last 20 seconds. So they were in that game right up to the last minute, although it ended up a 10 point game.

Looks like things have sorted themselves out nicely.
Will it be the Florida/Arkansas winner or the USC/ND winner? Any of these four who win out would get my vote.
Or do we now add Wake Forest and Boise St to Rutgers as wannabees?
Loser of OSU/Michigan is starting to look like a real possibility.

Not sure that I would count Wisky out as a 1 loss team, but they did lose to scUM so I would see a rematch b4 Wisky...

It was a huge day for the chances of ND, Arkansas, and a tOSU-TSUN rematch.
My current top 7 (based on the whole season to date, and not a prediction of tomorrow's BCS):
tOSU
TSUN
Florida
USC
Arkansas
Rutgers
ND
Teams that still don't have a chance at the Championship Game (Wiscy, West Va., Boise State, Louisville and Wake Forest)
If USC wins out, I will jump them over a 1-loss Florida. They almost control their own destiny.
Arkansas needs to win out and have USC lose, since USC beat them 50-14 at Arkansas in the opener.
I think if ND beats USC, I'll jump them over an undeated Rutgers team.
Rutgers needs USC to lose to either Cal or UCLA, and beat ND. They also need Florida and Arkansas to each lose another game, and have a blowout in The Game to have a chance to move to #2.

Just food for thought Wisky's only lose was by 14 in the Pig House...
Notre Dame Got drilled by Michigan at home...
I think at this point I might have Arkansas ahead of Florida.
I think they are the best team in the SEC at the moment...
