Home Game Tickets
This is probably a reappearing question but forgive me, it's my first post.
Anyway, I'm a huge Buckeye fan and haven't been down to a game since we played Notre Dame in 95. And I was wondering if any games have not yet gone on sale to the public and if not when they would and my chances of actually getting my hands on a set of tix. If all the games have been sold out let me know if you know anyone looking to sell a few tickets, the section does not matter, I just want to go to some games.
The games i'd prefer are Marshall, Penn State and Wisconsin (I'd like to go to the big one but I'm not that rich). If you have any information as to getting some tickets please let me know.

Penn State-good luck. As for Marshall, you might be able to call up the ticket office, or go to www.hangonsloopy.com and possibly get tickets for the Marshall or Indiana games. I remember my buddy walked up to the ticket office in St. John's-he was alumni, not a current student- and got two tickets for the Indiana game the week before in 2002. I wouldn't count on this, but it's worth a shot.

hangonsloopy.com is probably your best bet, but they usually don't go on sale to the public until about 1-2 weeks before the game. that's how i get mine.

Fostoriabuck,
At this point in the summer the tickets always seem impossible to come by, but you always can dig up some tickets depending on how much $$$ you want to spend. I paid $80 per ticket last season and sat 7 rows off the field for the Iowa game. Just get to the game early, you'll always find people selling tickets. Best place to go is the tailgating area, never buy tickets from guys that are up on the corner of High St. and Lane ave. They'll screw you over.

You shoulD be able to get tickets for the two preseason games. They're alot more available for those 2 games, especially.
Just keep checking hangonsloopy.com starting the 1st week in August, and check it at least once a day after that. You can call 1-800-BUCKEYE and they may be able to give you a better answer.

Welcome to the site, Fostoria. If you are planning to go by yourself, then I would recommend waiting outside the gates until a few minutes before kick-off. I got in the NCST game last year for only $10.00..before kick-off. If you are going with a friend or two, then the price might be higher unless you don't care for sitting with them...you can always meet up at the top sections of Southstands, left of the scoreboard. There seem to be open seats there every game I went to, and they are not bad seats really.

The first couple of games tend to be easy to get (unless it is a top tier program) because the kids aren't on campus yet (and they have to pay extra for them, so many don't bother buying them)... once the kids are in school, good luck, tickets become scarse quick...
(so look to go to one of the first couple of home games and you will more than likely find them at the ticket office/hangonsloopy.com)...

Thanks for all of your input, I'll keep my eye on hangonsloopy.com but come game day I'll probably hit up a scalper if I didn't get tickets.

For the alumni: have people heard from OSU about their lottery tickets yet? I haven't heard a word, and I have the first game.
