Tailgating @ The Shoe????

I'm considering tailgating somewhere near The Shoe saturday. It would be my first time doing so, so I have a few questions. It will be relatively small, just throwing a 27" TV in the back of my Suburban and firing up the grill.

If I arrive around 6:30am will I get a decent spot? Fawcett center possibe?

Any suggestions or things I need to know before hand would be greatly appreciated. I've been to games before, but never 'gated. Thanks
