Rivals $
2/26 Film. Great looking prospect, and certainly worthy of the D1 attention he is getting. Having said that, I would rate Rudolph and Moore above him. |

Ohio Tight End Realizes His Dream By Phil Kornblut All state TE Nic DiLillo (6-5 225) of Madison, OH committed to Clemson Saturday morning while on campus for an unofficial visit, a decision he said truly was like a dream come true. "I don't know what it was about Clemson, but ever since I was a kid I wanted to play there," DiLillo said. "It was like a dream. When I was at Clemson, I said I have to commit right now. I wanted to do it face to face with coach Napier. My dad wasn't there so that made it tougher, but we talked a few hours before. I'm from a small town and it will be an easy transition. Everything about it hit me and I liked it. I walked on the field (at Death Valley) and my blood started running, my adrenalin was rushing. It was just something about it." DiLillo also visited Michigan, Ohio State and Pittsburgh. He was going to visit Michigan State, Illinois and Maryland but decided not to after committing. He also has offers from Nebraska, Wisconsin, Pittsburgh, Akron, Purdue, Syracuse, Maryland, Kansas and Cincinnati. Last season DiLillo caught 46 passes for 480 yards and 4 touchdowns. "I'm not the fastest or the strongest, but I can block, catch and run," he said. "I can do everything you ask me to do." DiLillo said he is going to try to graduate in December and enroll in January if his high school will allow. He is the sixth commitment for Clemson's 2008 class. |

Nic is decommitting from Clemson and will instead possibly head to Pitt. Look for confirmation of the decommitment soon.
Clemson's camp showed Nic how far away home really was...he decided to stay closer. According to someone very close to Nic, tOSU may be getting involved again... Last edited by osugrad21; 06-18-2007 at 08:09 PM. |
