Silver Linings
Ok, I spent the morning [censored]ing and moaning. Now can we come up with a list of Silver Linings?
1) We lost to Florida, not Notre Dame.
2) We lost to a Florida team coached by Urban Meyer and not Steve Spurrier.
3) VLloyd got his ass beat too, thus no more "rematch" bull [censored].
4) Troy, not the Mighty Quinn, won the Heisman.
5) Teddy looked incredible on that kick off.
6) We're outright Big 10 Champions.
That's a start... feel free to add to lthe list.

Wisconsin and Penn State saved the big 10 slightly....in the bowls. otherwise, we would've inflicted a big 10 stereotype that would've lasted for years.
oh yeah...back to silver linings...Tressel is now still under contract. But I think someone already stated that.

1. Hearing Michigan fans gloat about someone else beating us.
2. JT's contract IS STILL IN TACT!

1.We still have one of the best coaching staffs in the country.
2. Next BCS game we'll probably be the underdog!
3. We have great talent at QB waiting in the wings!

We played better than 12 ACC teams, 10 Big Ten teams, 16 Big east teams, 12 Big Twelve teams, 10 Pac Ten teams, and 11 SEC teams last night.

-At least we didn't have to watch those goddamn maize and blue helmets bouncing in celebration...either of a national title (thanks again Troy) or winning the Rose Bowl either.
-Mike Hart will have to continue to invent ways that the team with less points was not only better, but actually won. I believe he will hire xrayrandy on retainer, and therefore he will not have time to post here again.
-Our coach had no interest in Alabama
-No one jobbed us...not refs, or replay booth dudes, or anyone...we just lost.
-We didn't, nor do I anticipate we will, ever play in a bowl game either on blue carpet, nor against Nevada (nothing against the Wolfpack).
-We didn't get beat by the same coach with 2 different teams like Western Michigan did
-We didn't have to play in Canada, eh
-Since 1992, we have big bowl wins, smaller bowl wins, NC game wins...and Notre Dame has no bowl wins...still
-We aren't relegated to playing directional schools in bowl games
-Losing the last game of the year is better than not playing in it
-We have Jim Tressel, so it will be rinse, lather, repeat, strap on the sweatervest and get back after it...and we will be back again soon.

We did add another National Championship to our record.

My great great uncle Clifford Heffelfinger (#45) played at OSU in 1939. And my cousin Evan Jablonka (#84) plays right now. Anyway, I read if you're related to somebody who has played at Ohio State, they will put you on their practice squad. But that doesn't mean you'll dress for the games though. When I go to Ohio State to major in Sports Journalism, this is what I am going to do. I won't stop there, because I will try to dress and make the team.
