Tebow has a cannon. He has done exactly what Meyer has needed him to do. He made you guys look stupid in the title game, and it wasn't a fluke. This kid is a great player. If he gets three yards when you know he is running, how do you think he will do when you don't know he is running every time.

Tebow has not proven that he can be a great starting quarterback in college football. If he wants to continue to run the ball, he will be both shut down and injured. Secondly, he has not shown that he can throw the ball at the college level. Until then, I am a doubter.

Well, I wasn't sure you are a Buckeye fan. That post definitely qualifies you for a delusional domer, and I have seen some so I wouldn't be too surprised.

Tebow was a backup to the senior and essential in their title run. He has thrown when he needs to and has ran successfully. He averaged 5 yards a run and has completed and has a QB rating of 201. Sure, that rating will go down, but still it's impressive. If Tebow averages 5 yards a carry when the defenses load up on the line, imagine him when they have to worry about the pass, too. He is fast, strong, has a cannon, a great coach, and the system to fit him perfectly as an spread option runner.

I am well aware that he can be a good football player, I saw him play in high school and know all of the records he broke. With the exception of the D-1AA Western Carolina it is very difficult for anyone to say he has been good at throwing the ball.

The SEC is so fast and physical I feel that making a career on the spread option could shorten Tebow's college football career. Don't you think that once the vaunted SEC defenses get a feel for what Urban is doing Tebow may break by his junior year Ohiovol?

Since when does having a "cannon" equal being a good college QB? Justin Zwick has a cannon too, but he couldn't get his job back once Troy Smith took over.

I think you need to watch the game again bucko....

The jury is still out on that. What I'm sure of is that Florida will be kicking the [censored] out of Tennessee for the foreseeable future.

Chances are he won't do anywhere near that well next year. He isn't the second coming of Michael Vick.
