Garrett is attending as a favor to myself & my 13 yr. old son (whom idolizes Garrett). I have been working with other players (as Recruiting Consultant, like I do for Garrett) and two of them are looking into possibly playing in Champaign next year / two year from now. One player is a teammate of Garrett's & he too asked that Garrett join us. DON'T WORRY, GARRETT IS A BUCKEYE FOR LIFE!!. Illinois knows this and they have stopped recruiting him however this trip is for the benefit of my client's & myself. (Also my son, who plays ball, has never been to a big time college / pro game. It will get him PUMPED!!!)

I think the kinds of things you are doing with/for these kids is admirable. Let's hope the trip works out for them!

Get him to the 'Shoe on November 3rd if he really wants to attend a big time college game!! Also make sure he makes two trips to Columbus on the second to last Saturday in November when Garrett is smoking the Wolverines...

Your son will then be a Buckeye for life!!

I assume you are reffering to ND bound Sean Cwynar (Whom Tom Lemming rates ahead of Garrett!!!....Cannot wait to send Tom a copy of tonights game) Garrett has awaited this opportunity for past 10 months AND IT SHOWED!!! What a performance against the supposed best lineman (according to Lemming)********Lemming looks like a FOOL!! Did you see the last play of the 2nd quarter??? A GOEBEL "ALL-TIME CLASSIC"!!!! It was a battle of linemen that drew a big crowd, including CLTV analyst Tom Lemming. Montini's Ohio State-bound Garrett Goebel (6-5, 270) was pitted against Marian's Notre Dame-bound Sean Cwynar (6-4, 290).

''The big guys [Cwynar and Goebel] played both ways and really didn't have that big an effect on the game,'' Lemming said. ''They are the two best linemen in the state, but they neutralized each other. And they both looked like much better offensive players. The story was the little guys.''

You would need to know Garrett to understand my answer....Garrett does not get too excited about anything UNLESS he is directly involved or has a dedicated/ vested interest. With that said (not to mention the sweltering heat!!!) the other recruits with us + my son had an exciting memorable visit.

What a LIE!! Cwynar DID NOT PLAY DEFENSE after the 1st quarter!!! He was useless at DE, Goebel played with him. When GG was at DE, Marian had to double & TRIPLE team Goebel yet he still "Officially" has (3) three tackles for loss & (4) four QB pressures despite this!!!

TOM LEMMING is BIASED, and what he wrote above IS AN ABSOLUTE LIE!!
