I would definately root for ********(can't type it this week either) over Miami or, for that matter, any other school in a bowl game. Hell, I usually (not always) but usually root for them against other big ten schools...

You want to know if there is any respect down here? Lets just say it is hard to have a rivalry with a team you don't respect. If there was no respect this would be just another Indiana game and no one would even be talking football this week, we would be discussing where we are going to watch the National Championship game from.
Now that does not mean there is love for scUM down here. I personally have a lot of Michigan fans as good friends and we discuss quite a few different things, however that does not mean I root for scUM. I am indifferent when it comes to them until we play them or of course if we need them to lose or whatnot. Other than that, I see their score and don't take any pleasure from their losses.
All that said, you school colors make me want to vomit every time I look at them. When you combine the colors with that [censored]ty band, it is everything I can do to not lose my lunch where I stand.

To echo many other statements, without a doubt I respect scUM. I want both teams to be undefeated going into the THE GAME. I was actually in a weird sort of way bummed out when Oregon knocked Michigan off. I definately wanted the 100th game to be for all the marbles, (it is still, but in a different sort of way) and I wanted both teams to be undefeated. In previous years, I felt the same way. When I am watching a scUM game, its not like I ever root for them to recover the fumble, but in the end, its OK if they win.
As for rooting for them to win the National Championship, that would have a lot to do in what enviroment I was in. Put me in a room full of scUM fans, and clearly I am rooting for almost anyone else. Put me in a room full of fans picking on the Big Ten, then I am hoping to ruin their night by cheering the Big Ten on. I also think it would be easier to root for scUM in that situation than last year, since we won ours again.

if scum were playing in the national title game (or any other bigten team) i would be 100% on their side......
i pull for the bigten in every ooc game and every bowl game.......

I would hate to have to pull for Michigan in a national title game, since if they won they'd have another title to brag about. But, if it meant keeping it out of another conference, then I'd suck it up and pull for them.
