Sounds like another quality hire. JT knows how to not only evaluate talent for the field but also on the sideline.

If I take off my scarlet colored glasses, I am a little confused. While I really like the hire, I do not understand why a guy would leave an assistant coaching position in the NFL to become an assistant coach in the college ranks. Usually, it is the other way around. See Mel Tucker. I understand that some guys like the college atmosphere in working and teaching kids so maybe I am answering my own question but for career opportunities it seems to me like he is going the wrong way. I don't know.

I really like this hire as well. If you think about, he must have a passion for college football if he turned down a recent NFL hire from the Raiders who had a very good defense last year. Good job JT. If you think about it too, this guy wanted so bad to be on our staff... that could play well in recruiting.

What better program for an up-and-coming CF coach? Congrats to JT and staff for pulling this one into Columbus.

Youthful coaches often pay off big time in recruiting. I like his character as well. Good addition to the family.
