Bowl Game
What does everyone think of our chances to still get a BCS bowl game? I think we are still one of the top 8. However, if we don't get a BCS bowl we get stuck in the Capital One Bowl against an SEC team. The site I visited (CBS Sportsline) doesn't say which SEC team (two, three, four?). Does anyone else know? I hope we don't get relegated to playing Tennessee or Georgia, although Georgia seems likeliest. Maybe Floriday State if we get a BCS bowl?

Assuming LSU wins the SEC and miami wins the Big Least, I think Texas and OSU will get the BCS spots. I hear the Orange Bowl wants a OSU-miami rematch. It would be great to beat those thugs two years in a row, but I'm not sure how smart it would be playing a night game in their own stadium. It's an ambush waiting to happen, literally.

I agree, but I think we could take them again. They aren't nearly as dangerous as last year. Providing we don't have a defensive breakdown like we did today, we could win. I would like to see them play someone they don't normally play, maybe Georgia or even Florida, if we don't get the BCS. I think FSU may be higher in the BCS standings, but I haven't checked lately. I don't think WSU will get a BCS bowl after today, but it would be a fitting ending if we played them and beat them, after beating Washington in the opener. We should know by tomorrow, I'm guessing that OSU will accept a bowl by no later than Monday. Unfortunately, I am deploying on the 28th (I am in the U.S. Navy, hence being here in San Antonio), and will be underway for most of the bowl games, if not all.

We won't know until Dec. 6th or 7th. Still need to wait for the conference championship games to iron out.
I'd love to see an OSU-Texas matchup in Tempe. Start a little feud before the 05/06 series.
I hope we learned our lesson after the Wisky game. Going on the road at night is never a good idea. Besides, you don't want to be around the Orange Bowl after dark. Bad neighborhood. Although, all of us that joined the Hurricane Club last year should be able to take advantage again this year.
