What do you love about OSU football?
Ah football season is here, I want everyone to name one thing they love about OSU football! It doesn't have to be your favorite thing, but something that makes you proud, or appreciate from our football program.
One thing I absolutely love is waiting for the first play from our team. Seeing our football team line up for the first time in 9 months with all those new players out there gets me so damned fired up! Even now, just thinking about watching our team in action gets my blood pumping! Seeing our team execute the first play, no matter what kind it is, is a huge release of anticipation, excitement, and adrenaline.
This will be the first year in about 12 years where I'll won't be at the stadium for opening kickoff. I'm afraid my neighbors will call the police from all the yelling and screaming I'll be doing at kickoff!
(I don't care if this is cheesy, I'm too FIRED UP for this season!)

I love the tradition.
Seeing the team enter the Shoe. I love the skull session.
I love the memories of my parents and both of my brothers sitting together in the living room to watch the scUM game
Besides Christmas morning, it was the only time all year we'd all be together in the living room for several hours

as great as the first game is, even better is a game in late october/november...50 degree weather with the leaves changing and a brisk breeze in the air...the sound of small planes/helicopters in the sky....the late 3:30 start and the feeling of anticipation in the air as you realize in a few hours you won't have a care in the world about anything else.
