Depth Great at QB

If this has already been said, my apologies -

There have been a couple of threads of Zwick vs. Smith. From my TV in Jacksonville, FL, I watched two QBs who could get the job done. Justin has been tapped as the starter, and will probably pull away from Smith as he gets more PT. That said, 12 games is a marathon and rarely does a QB go the distance.

It is great to know if JW gets banged up, or is just having a terrible day, Smith can come in and perform. Too many teams lose games because the #1 QB goes out and the #2 QB is plain awful.

Not since Germaine/Jackson has OSU had a #1 and #2 QB who could run the entire offense.

I'm not that sure that Zwick will pull away. Against UC you can get away with throwing off the back foot, against fast defenses those close calls to Bam are gonna get picked. I saw a guy that was forcing throws all over the field and a guy that was careless with the ball. I KNOW it was his first game and he was nervous, but I think Tressel is gonna tone down the offense until Justin makes better decisions.
