I don't think we can...because of the way the BCS works this year. The BCS revolves around the polls now...and we won't be ranked higher than a lot of 1 loss teams. We are already ranked lower than a few. Then again...USC lost in overtime to an unranked team last year and went on to be #1 in both polls. So who knows. This Saturday is our season...this game might not just effect this season...but where our football program heads in general.

OSUGrad I agree with them this is the season right here. We lose to Wisky the next week we play an improving Iowa team in Iowa City. Purdue on the road then Michigan who seems to be trying to gain an identity. Every game is winnable on the schedule but there are 4 games that are very loseable.

There is no excuse for a team with this much talent to go 6-5 I don't care how young they are. This game could be the difference between us running the table and going 6-5. IMO this game is gonna kill our morale or it's exactly the win we needed for confidence. It's a make or break game. Aloss here and we are playing for 2nd place in the conference from then on.

you can tell the athletes....or previous athletes...on this board....

the couch sitters think the world is over....the people who have actually played at a high level know about match ups and the ever increasing desire to improve...

the couchies think tOSU is going to lose four games this year....the actual posters that have competed believe.....believe in the ability to improve...

its as obvious as sun up......

After I finished laughing the reality did kind of settle in. We most likely don't have a shot at the NC, we don't stop the run and we don't run the ball. The more I think about it the more I think this will be a rebuilding year. If we had a great D-line things could be different, but we don't.
