Actually, I think he's trying to show that we can still end up very high in the BCS standings, and possibly still play for the national title, with one loss, especially when the loss is this early.

I don't think we can...because of the way the BCS works this year. The BCS revolves around the polls now...and we won't be ranked higher than a lot of 1 loss teams. We are already ranked lower than a few. Then again...USC lost in overtime to an unranked team last year and went on to be #1 in both polls. So who knows. This Saturday is our season...this game might not just effect this season...but where our football program heads in general.
