Whether the voters man up and go for anything younger than a Junior is the next relevant question. There is a lot of football left. At this point my vote would go to USC's Bush.

I think it is probably
Bush
Rodgers
Leinhart
Peterson
White
at this point. My personal opinion though is that Peterson is indeed deserving of the award or at least top two. What he has done is incredible.
I think Jason White has no shot, because I don't think anyone would want him to duplicate Archie's feet unless he was head and shoulders above everyone else. If he is putting up numbers comparable to others, I think the votes go elsewhere.

Right now, Peterson has the best numbers in the country. He's the real deal, and would get my vote right now if I had one. Reggie Bush would be my #2.

I use the same logic Cincibuck did. For me to vote for Peterson he would have to be light years ahead of his peers. Unfortunately his stats aren't the best in the country and there is another Freshman by the name of Jamario Thomas (North Texas) that is outperforming him. Cedric Benson is also above him in rushing statistics. I just don't feel 8 touchdowns in 8 games is fascinating. He is a tremendous athlete that will certainly win a Heisman, but his numbers are comparable to other tailbacks in the country.

White for Heisman?
I don't know about everybody else, but i'm scared about White winning the Heisman. I want Archie to be the only two time winner until another Buckeye comes and wins them. I'm curious to know who everybody thinks will win the Heisman.

White won't win it. Rodgers should win it, but who knows. I'm in the camp of anyone but White and preferably not someone from USC. Alex Smith is not bad either.

I would like to see Rodgers win it. I like Leinart and Bush also.

I'm hoping that all the Oklahoma voters split their votes between White and Peterson. I'd love to see Rodgers win it.

I honestly don't think that the voters want to be embarrassed again. White probably won't win it, based on the fact that voters are still [censored]ed that he made them look like dumbasses last year.
