I guess zone blocking can work if you hit some one. These teams use it, but they still attack and try to give the first contact.
OSU takes a drop or side step and takes the contact, which is why lesser D-lines eat them up. So since we know some teams can run and
OSU can't maybe they should try another approach. Remember the O-Line knows the count and should always get inside hands on the D-line. If this happens the O-line should win most of battles aganist lesser teams such as Northwestern and Cincinnati. The best O-lines are usually the mean and most dirty people on the field, but I don't see that on this team from many players.
