Awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do next season.

Gibson descends roster, ascends OSU depth chart
Kevin Kleps KKleps@News-Herald.com

Euclid grad switches jersey from 37 to 90, which coincides with a move into D-line rotation
A change in jersey numbers might seem trivial.
For Thaddeus Gibson, it was a fresh start, one that reminded him of the days when he wreaked havoc on Northeast Ohio defenses as a senior at Euclid in 2005.
This fall at Ohio State, Gibson will sport the 90 he wore so well with the Panthers, when he had eight sacks and 14 quarterback hurries despite facing constant double- and triple-teams as a senior.
Gibson has shed the No. 37 he wore last year, but he's added weight - he's listed at 240 pounds, up from 228 a season ago - and expectations, the latter coming as a result of a phenomenal spring in which he got the attention of almost everyone who follows football in Columbus and the national Web sites.

I believe we all heard a current weight of 260-ish. And he certainly looks it!

Defensive end Thaddeus Gibson is an absolute beast, and when I told him so, fellow linemen Rob Rose, passing by, turned and said, "Don't give him a big head." Gibson came to OSU at 205 pounds, he said, and now weighs 250. But he claims he still runs in the 4.5 range.
Be nice to that man.
