1. Ginn on kick returns is what most expected. I liked how he was not arm tackled. Once he was past a few defenders the announcers said there was no way anyone was going to get him. They were right.

2. Front seven played well. Richardson sure showed some emotion. Seemed to be much more organized than last week (as bad as last week was). Still some mental mistakes, but more of what we expected from them when the season began. You just cannot leave any unit on the field that long.

3. Nuge. Nuff said.

4. I don't see anyone leaving early. Hawk does not strike me as a guy who would leave early. Santonio has had a few mental mistakes the past couple of games. He is getting more mature, but still has a ways to go. As much as I hate to say it, look at how well Edwards at michigan is doing already by staying that extra year.

1. Zwick's accuracy is so horrid, that the opposing DB has no chance at an interception as well.

2. We have 2 legit return men. Of course, both fumbled too, but let's just ignore that part.

3. Our backup QB is likely to have been just as good as our first stringer. Not many big ten teams have two equally proficient QBs.

1. Play selection seem more creative (but sometimes overly; like calling a fade on 3rd and 1).

2. Fewer missed tackles.

I missed part of the game. I saw Santonio's fumble, did Ginn have one as well?

1. We will still win a few more close games as long as we have the kicking game we do. Nuge and good punting are good for 1 win a season, and they can be key factors in 2 or 3 more (like Marshall).

2. All of our skill position guys in the backfield are interchangable, giving us plenty of matchup options every play (OK, HUGE stretch).

3. There is no way for a defensive coach to get a handle on our tendencies, because we have none (well, except maybe punting).

4. With a little bit of work this week, I think we can cut out the procedure penalties following penalties or timeouts.

5. If we take care of the ball, we can still win close gamesagainst quality opposition.

I think the return of Fox could help us. I will admit that earlier this year I questioned his abilities but after seeing our D give up crucial TD's in the red zone, I can't help but think w/ Fox at least one of those two TD's might have been a field goal instead. Hopefully he suits up next week.
