Looks good. The only change I would make is John Hollins for Devon Lyons to start the season. Also, the coaches have been saying very good things about Tony Gonzalez but I'm wouldnt be sure where to plug him in at.

BuckNutty: The only thing I would actively disagree with is D'Andrea being moved to the SLB. Even if he were second-string (and I'm still not convinced that Schlegel will beat him out for starting MLB), no way is Kerr a better MLB. On second string, D'Andrea would be MLB and Kerr an outside LB.

Hey, I have no problems with people disagreeing with me. I'm sure plenty of other spots could be argued as well, including the O-line.

My only thought on D'Andrea is he couldn't beat out Pagac so I question whether or not he can beat out Schlegel. If he can we will be more than set at the Mike. I think the competition will make all these guys better and I am in now way writing off D'Andrea. Kenny Peterson is a recent example of why it's never a good idea to count a kid out. I'm hoping the same thing applies for Doug Datish. It would be really nice if he could step up and contribute this fall.

Regardless of a few moves here and there.... this list has me very excited about our team for the next few years! I can see alot of the young guys getting playing time by rotating in and out. I read we are going to have a 10 man rotation on the D line this year..... we'll have a load of talent out there on that side of the ball.

Looking at the defense has me really excited about next year. Everyone in the two deep is a great athlete. It seems that almost everyone could play multiple positions.

Tressel has a penchant for playing his "loyal" seniors. This is why Pagac started over D'Andrea, and why Ross will remain at starting TB this year (barring injury). D'Andrea got a lot of PT last year, playing over Pagac even when healthy. Pagac got his share as well, and did start, but seemed to play only in obvious running downs. I personally would like to see D'Andrea play a plethora of positions, including SAM, MIKE, and rush end, but I firmly believe he will start the year either 1st or 2nd team MIKE.

My 2 Deep - For Cincinnati
Since we're talking about the Cincinnati game I can't see that many true freshmen on the two-deep and none starting. Also, JT has been talking about getting some of that DT talent on the offensive side of the ball, I think Sian Cotton was singled out as a guy who could pull it off. I can't see Schlegel starting this game ahead of D'Andrea.. he might take the job over as soon as the second half, but I can't see JT just giving up on the "D'Andrea project". I can't see JT putting two inexperienced players in to return kicks. I think we'll see Tony Gonzales and Dareus Hiley on 4 and 5 receiver sets. Expect more from Maurice Hall this year. We now know he was playing on two bad knees all last year.
