Dayton-area Ohio State football fans will be able to watch the Buckeyes' spring football game live from their homes for the first time. As long as they have an Internet connection.
The Big Ten Network will stream the scrimmage that concludes spring practice on its Web site ? bigtennetwork.com ? Saturday, April 19.
BTN also will air the scrimmage at 11 p.m. that night and at 6 p.m. Sunday.
The all-day, year-round network devoted to Big Ten athletics is available through satellite providers DirecTV and Dish Network, but it still is not included on any Time Warner Cable lineup as the two sides continue a stalemate in negotiations.
"We think the Big Ten Network should be on a special sports tier where customers who want it can purchase it," a Time Warner spokesperson said.

It appears he was the #1 pick no matter what, as Jim Tressel "coincidentally" had Gibsons' jersey under the podium.
I like the idea of having a 'speed' end this year. I can't remeber the last time we had someone in his mold rushing the passer. Under Tressel, it's almost always been bull-rushers or a combination of speed/power.
Thaddeus will take that Dwight Freeney approach. Hopefully he's as good at it.

Leave it to the DDN to report something incorrect. The ONN network has been available on digital Time Warner for years and I watched the spring game live that was cold and rainy (windchil around 22 degrees) just a few years ago. I usually attend but this year due to weather it looks like the internet for me thanks to the Big Ten Network. I wonder how many fans have said that since last year? |

I think it's interesting Tressel has Gibson's jersey in hand (only jersey in hand) before Boone takes him. I think it's highly posssible that whoever won the toss had an understanding to take Thaddeus. Either way, that's still a great sign for Thaddeus and I think he will have a monster year.
