Our reverses (and this includes last yr) take forever to develop.. and by the time the WR has the ball, there is 1-2 two guys waiting in the backfield for him, and he always has to cut it back in between the tackle box.. we just run it soo poorly..
2) Just another note on Boeckman.. the picks have to stop.. but i also think one of his biggest problems is that he vacates the pocket to quick.. there was one blitz that got picked up perfectly, yet Todd didnt trust his line, so instread he panicked and tucked the ball, and got sacked by Denlinger..
I was hoping to see a QB who was confident, poised, and could step up and deliver quality balls to his receivers...
I did see that.. sadly it was from Bauserman and not the #1 QB

I agree on both points. Our reverses are predictable(no threat of the receiver throwing the ball or handing it off to another player) and almost seem telegraphed. They seemed more creative with Ginn(Ntre Ame and Indiana were two times the reverse worked perfectly).
When Todd hasn't found anyone open for about 3 seconds, he loses his cool. He runs like a chicken with its head cut off. If he's going to scramble he needs to head towards the sidelines, not up the gut where there's no space. It is spring though and I really like our o-line this year to give him plenty of time to throw.

You guys hit on everything...
But just a couple things to reiterate...Great to see the D-line dominate...Wilson, Gibson, Heyward are going to look very impressive running down QB's all year...Though the inside guys did well too, Larimore, Denlinger, Worthington, Abdallah...
Spitler contiues to impress me everytime I see him...Think the LB's will be great for us this season...Very deep as well...We have about 8 guys that could start for any other team in the big ten, except maybe PSU and Illinois...
Secondary also is going to be very good...Very deep as well...Chekwa struggled some today, still needs to get bigger to get off blocks...Nice pick by Coleman, and he looked good coming up and making some hits...
way to hard to get a read on the o-line, not only because of spring game, but because everyone was hurt...so incomplete here...We will be fine at RT tho with whoever starts and we have a solid 10 if everyone is healthy as well...
Rb's even tho we only have 4 on ship, we have 4 very very good ones, and the best in teh country is one of them...Herron looks great, so does Saine and we know what Mo Wells brings to the table...
Honestly don't care much about Boeckman's interceptions...He will take care of them...Bauserman looked great...
WR's, wanted to comment on Small looking like he finally gets it...Looked good out there, and also his blocking down field on run plays looked great...hartline, Washington, Dane, Torrence, and Stoney looked as well...

Bauserman absolutely looked like a #1 today. Great arm, good decesions, and even made 3rd string receivers look effective in the 4th quarter. I'd love to see him with our first string OL and all of the weapons.
Boom Herron looked great. He turns 2 yard gains into 5-6 yard gains with vision and change of pace. He reminded me of a taller/skinnier Mike Hart. Not a homerun threat, but someone who will absolutely get positive yardage and move the chains. He will be a great I formation back.
Thaddeus was impressive....on his blown sack attempt, I almost thought he let up a little, as if the QB was wearing a black jersey. Not sure, but he was definately disruptive.
Curtis Terry had a nice block on the goalline for Boom Herron, and he looks like a monster back there.
Thought Homan and Spitler both looked great today.
Nate Oliver played the run very well and is a sure tackler. Pass coverage was a bit shaky.
Kurt Coleman is about to have a breakout year.

Wheres the love for Sabino? This kid was all over the field. Worst part was the rain started at the very beginning of the game and seemingly ended when I finally got back to my car. LOL But still a good time.
