I don't think the INT was his fault since Coleman made an unbelievable play, but he did underthrow him severely.
Sorry, but he didn't slow down at all. I've now re-watched this a good 10-15 times from both camera views(sideline and behind Boeckman). The ball was actually about to land right in Hartline's hands without him breaking stride. Coleman just flat out dove out of nowhere. The only thing Todd did wrong was underestimating Coleman's determination. That was a great play by Coleman much more than it was a bad play by Boeckman. It was literally inches away from being a touchdown.

I like Steve Helwagen's perspective on the QB play.

We'll start with Bauserman and Henton ...

Obviously, we only saw 2 of the 15 spring practices, today and last week's jersey scrimmage. I think Bauserman has pushed even with Henton, certainly, if not overtaken him. Tressel was very diplomatic afterwards saying that there is no need to make a declaration today about who is No. 2. My guess is they would list them as an "or" situation if they had to today ...

Bauserman just has so much poise. He has knocked the rust off of his game and he has an absolute cannon. He had his choice of open receivers on the 51-yard TD to Taurian Washington and then threw like a 60-yard bomb to Washington that was called back because of a hold. It was kind of a cheap holding call, away from the play, on Andy Miller. He can also run the ball a little and is just a tough sucker. This is a guy to keep your eye on. I enjoyed watching No. 14 at helm for the first time since Hoying in 1995. ...

Henton has his moments. This will be his third season on campus coming up and that's when it clicked on for Troy Smith (in 2004). He just needs to keep working and studying. He stayed alive at times when there was nothing (like the play late in the game where he nearly went down and almost scrambled for a touchdown). He did well for the Scarlet in the second half (5 of 7) and also made a great throw for a key completion in the first half for the Gray. Now is when he has to put the time in and grow. He and Joe have a window here before Pryor gets entrenched in the fall. They need to keep stepping up or may have to find a ball cap and a clipboard. But I liked what I saw and if either had to play, they would probably handle it OK. ...

There is so much talent around those guys that they just have to stay away from the big mistake and everything should be just fine.

As for Boeckman, like last week, he had moments where he was in complete control of the game. We remarked on the drive before the Homan pick that it just wasn't fair what he and Hartline were doing to the poor Gray DBs. It was pitch-and-catch. In the fall, you add in Beanie and Robo and, look out, you should have something very special ...

I don't think Hartline even saw Coleman, he came out of nowhere on that deep pick and made an amazing play. The Homan pick he was pressured right up the gut and just tried to unload to beat the rush. Homan made an A.J. Hawk caliber sliding interception on that one (after Hartline had picked the defense apart on 4 of the 5 previous plays). Sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you ...

There is never a good time to throw a pick, but sometimes you just tip your cap. He didn't let those ruin his day. There was some time management problems on the drive at the end of the half. They just needed to pick up the tempo, but in a game like this with coaching staffs and players split up things get a little scattery.
EDIT- Looking at it for what seems like the 20th time, he may have slowed down a tad. Nothing major though.

This D is going to be one for the ages. They are fun to watch. Tons of guys that know where to go and play fast. I just don't get the criticism of TB. Not only do I think JT wouldn't call a 50 yd bomb in those conditions, but wouldn't we also be saying "why can't our secondary cover the deep post" if he completes that? TB has plenty of eyehand coordination. I get the feeling he could complete 3-4 routes consistently to hartline with a blindfold on. Those two are def. on the same page. As for Bauserman, he did better than I expected but didn't TB also do well in a spring game a few years ago? I also like what I saw from henton. Made a couple of nice runs, shed JL and thad on a couple of sure sacks and also had a nice 30 yd flick of the wrist throw across his body that impressed me. He , like TB and i'm sure bauserman have things to work on but it was really kind of unfair to judge them based on a lineup that (starter-wise) was heavily tilted towards the D (I think I heard the announcers at one point say it was 3 starters on Offense vs. 8 on D). They'll be just fine come fall.

Just a couple more thoughts I'd like to add. A lot of you are praising Bauserman, and deservedly so, but both his deep balls were well under thrown(worse than Todd's int). It's just the DB didn't make the play on the ball. Bauserman was just as close to having 2 int's as Todd was to having a TD.

Also, lets keep in mind his o-line was inconsistent at best despite having more scholarship o-linemen than the gray team, the defense is usually well ahead of the offense at this point(especially one as experienced as this year's and healthier than the offense), and Todd went against most of the starters while the bulk of Henton's and Bauserman's play was against back-up's.

I reviewed the game twice and I only recall 2 glaring mistakes by Todd. The int to Homan under pressure and running up the middle, eventually being sacked. I'm taking the glass half full approach and will not worry about our QB's until I see something to worry about in a game.

FWIW I extracted the video feed from the BTN's site and can upload the entire spring game through our torrent tracker. I just need a mod to make a 2008 Football section in the Media forum.
