Does injury count as total collapse? Zwick lost his job to Troy Smith when he was injured in a game...Against Iowa I think. Smith then kept the job as the starter due to his fine play and not due to Zwick's poor play.
Who is to say this couldn't happen again? Maybe Pryor gets playing time and looks so good that JT decides he has to keep him on the field?
Not saying this would ever happen....My point is that no one should say Boeckman will be the starter all year.

Expecting people to come up with every possible contingency in which TB might be sat down is ridiculous. When I say Boeckman will be the starter for every game in 2008, you are supposed to act like a normal person and assume that means there is no parade of horribles which puts Boeckman on the sideline.
But... but... what if he breaks his thumb in a billiards accident? Ok... he won't start every game....
And... what if he gets mono? OK, he won't start every game....
and how about if he is abducted by aliens? Yes... he won't start if he's on a spaceship....

Boeckman is the starter, but he is on a very tight leash. If he bombs in the USC game. I can gurantee his days will be numbered.
