Why would he make a statement like this so early in the process? He does not have any offers yet. Don't get me wrong, I love that he wants to be a Buckeye but such a strong statement may turn away opportunities.

His tape is out on Scouting Ohio...
I'm a little unsure about this kid... Hits hard, good instincts, great bloodline... but I think he looks kinda rigid out there and definately not as athletic and quick as his bro... Looks like MLB would be his ideal position, as he does operate well against the run and between the hashes.. Usually has a solid read on the RB and is able to stick him pretty good... He's also listed at 235.. Not sure he's gonna be able to stick at LB, but doesnt look like he has the first step to play DE.. Interested to hear what people think about him...

Agreed. I only watched half of the video (because I have a Lichtenfelsian training regimen), but I came away thinking eventual DT. He can definitely square up a ball carrier though.

Looks like his brother's clone. The quickness in which he reads plays, the way he closes the hole, the tackling techniques and the short choppy footsteps all reminds me of his brother. The only thing right now is speed, but that's impossible to judge with sophomore year films. 4.8 right now is generous for these kids, but it's a given that they will get a lot faster.
