good to see anderson russell back. he is a player. lot of key players return as starters. need young skill players on offense to get their practice in against ysu and akron and get ready for big 10 play.

Citing the obvious
The kicking game looks outstanding.
The defense looks solid. The offense looks a little inexperienced (and unproved) at several skill positions. |

At this point in time I have no preference as to who is where , I just want them to stay healty and succeed, and beat the snot out of everyone.

I was a little surprised to see Aram not in the 2 deep, but everything else was as expected for me.

When A. Russ went down last year the defense just wasn't the same.

Long term he will be just fine. |

He's running out of time to put it together, especially considering the guys ahead of him are younger than he is. So unless you're counting the NFL in his long term, I'd have to disagree.

yep, he definitely seemed out of his element completely at safety. he seemed to be ok against teams/players he could simply "out athlete". but against teams with similar talent he really struggled. |

Which part of that comment was (not) supposed to be a pun? If there's a pun in there, it's lost on me.

Looks great for a tentative lineup. One thing stood out...
Long Snapper 96 Jacob McQuaide (6-3, 215, Fr.) IMO one of the most under-appreciated and overly-important positions on the field...especially for a Freshman. Good luck Jacob!! |

The fact that he's 300 lbs. and probably eats a lot of food. I thought some might not be sure if I was trying to make a joke so I included the "no pun".
