According to the Dayton Daily News, Sam Longo did not play Friday night because of a stress fracture in his left foot. Longo's Bellbrook Golden Eagles hardly missed him, though, as they beat Miamisburg 28-0.

So where does everybody see him on the line? I have thought that LT could work, since he is so athletic and only getting better. Plus, we could have Marcus Hall coming in at RT, Mewhort at OG/C and Linsley at OG and only Adams and Andrew Miller (who is playing some LG this year becuase of the Rehring injury) at the LT spot.

Seriously, where does he fit in on the line?

How about DT? Bellamy could play OL. I think Longo would give us some much needed size, strength, and speed at DT.

As much as we need DT's, I don't think so. Heacock wants Sam on the DL (at least I had heard) but I would see it at DE, regardless of his weight. I just don't see him playing DT with his frame. In the end, I say Sam is a tackle, with Hall sliding down to guard...or to DT. Just my 2 cents.

I think I coached his dad in High School at Canal Winchester. His dad was great athlete too. I think it is the same Gene Longo(dad)

My Take: Athleticism is impressive. Active quick feet and obvious nasty streak. He is a knee bender with loose hips and that is a good thing on the HS level but he has more reach that he is not using.
