The b10 #1 travels to pasadena to play west coast teams, often from LA.
The b10 #2 plays the SEC in FL.
The b10 #3 plays the SEC in FL.
The b10 #4/5(?) plays the b12 in SA in Texas.

Almost every bowl game unless it is played in the Midwest (like the bowl game played in Detroit) is at best a neutral site for the Big Ten and at worst a road game....

The only one I think that could be a home game would be the Detroit City Motor Bowl. Not many times do Big10 teams want to go there.

The Fiesta Bowl is home ground for Ohio State. There are just so many tOSU alums in that area.
On that note, Penn State may have homefield there. During the Penguins - Coyotes game last year, I believe the arena was sold out to 105.7% capacity. Standing room only. Not even Detroit visiting could sell out that arena. There are a lot of Pittsburgh people in that area, and a lot of Pittsburgh people are State Penn fans.

Maybe it's because Autzen Stadium only holds 54,000?

And why does it only hold 54,000? Maybe it's because they would struggle to sell out a bigger stadium? If the admins there had any confidence that they could put 75-80k in that building every week, that's how many seats it would have.

I don't think thats a very accurate statement. OSU could put more than 105,000 in the shoe for most games but it's still a 105,000 seat stadium.
You don't just snap your fingers and add 25,000 seats to a stadium. There could be any number of factors as to why they decided on 54,000.
