Only thing I can think of after rewatching it is that the ball was not tipped by a defender, it was off our guy so I guess thats how it can be illegal touching?

Wasn't always that way. Under Coop if we got behind I was cussing and throwing things. Early days with JT it was the same. But now I seem to be picking up on his calm. It isn't always there - and we don't always win. But there are some games - most in fact - where you just know it is under control.
Am I alone?

Great observation. By the way, I still cuss when we get behind, but I don't throw things anymore (though I came close during the second half of last year's Illinois game).

My calm always depends on whether why we're down... poor execusion I'm fine b/c usually JT and the boys fix that at half, the bucks have been a second half team under JT quite a bit. However if we are getting roughed up then I'm [censored]ed, but eventually gives way to apathy. I try to avoide "Sean Smash"/uberrage mode about football anymore.

ozone reports that the tip came of Sanzenbacher's hands - ergo out-of-bounds receiver remains ineligible.

Even though we were done 7-3 at the half. I had the feeling that we had figured out their offense and it was only going to be freelance plays by
Locker that would hurt us in the second half.
And I believed he would take a beating and make mistakes.

great post as usual, Oh8ch.
since the Pats-Chargers game was a total sleeper, i rewatched yesterday's game. i noticed at least three incidents in which we ran the power O with Rehring pulling that went for little or no gain where #71 was on the second level looking for someone to block only to notice that Beanie hadn't been following him and was getting tackled. he jumped and slapped his hands together each time... also, it seemed that sometimes the guards were pulling to the outside of the tackles and sometimes they were pulling between the tackles and the guards... in the three incidents i'm referring to, Rehring pulled to the outside of Kirk. does anyone have any takes? two different play calls? or inconsistency with Steve? it seemed to me that if Beanie had been following Steve, he could have had a lot more yards. like 200.
