You have to wonder if this fact isn't borne of the same coaching philosophy that "tweaks" the rules to the jersey scrimmage every year, and "coincidentally" the unit that has the most question marks always seems to win (O in 2005, D in 2006, O in 2007).
Truthfully, I doubt that this is the case. It just makes you wonder how things like this happen.
