I am struggling to understand why Mo Wells has so many more leaves than Beanie? Maybe one of you Buckeye purists can help me understand.

I'm not sure I would call myself a purist, and I certainly wouldn't call myself an expert on this subject; but I have heard that Missed Assignments can cost a player Buckeye Leaves. If that is the case, it is possible that Beanie got some M.A.s for some impatient runs earlier in the season when he didn't hit the right hole or hit the hole at the wrong time.

That problem seems to have been fixed.

The fact that Mo Wells plays on Special Teams would add to his totals as well...when a Unit (Offense, Defense, Special Teams) grades well in certain situations, then the entire Unit gets a Leaf as I understand it.

Mo Wells being on Offense and Special Teams, he would have additional opportunities for stickers (as oppossed to Beanie 'only' playing on Offense).

my guess was going to be due to MW being on special teams as well

So how many buckeye leaves did Locker earn for his performance? I think the ESPN crew had him down for about 15 in the first half alone.
