From the Cincinnati site...has an offer from Cincinnati and has made a couple of unofficial visits to UC. Gets mail from Illinois every day and is also hearing from Louisville, WVU and Northwestern.

Stud.. seems like every day, we add a player to the mix for this 09 class.. just great highlights coming out on a daily basis from Scouting Ohio.. it's almost impossible to come out with a Top 20 list at this point given how many impressive kids pop up on a daily basis..

According to someone on Bucknuts, Wood was invited to one of the upcoming junior days

By Dave Berk...went to a junior day at Northwestern and will be visiting OSU and Cincinnati. Has offers from Illinois, Stanford, Northwestern, Indiana, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Miami Ohio and Akron.

Agreed...I like Wood's versatility...and his combination of speed and size. Great frame and such a natural athlete. But I admit I only have seen ScoutingOhio film on them. Hope to see them in person this fall...

I really like this kid.. not sure what position he's gonna play yet.. but his athleticism and playmaking just jumps out at u on tape..

Decided to check out his scoutingohio highlights to see what he's all about and I'm in complete support of this offer(well, I always am but especially this one ). I think he'd be great on either side of the ball.

Based on Tressel's recruiting track record, Wood screams cornerback from what I've seen. Big DB with ability to play safety or wide receiver, sounds an awful lot like malcolm jenkins, donald washington, travis howard, ashton youboty, chimdi chekwa, eugene clifford, etc.

Really like the film...very versatile!! Really has a great frame....could bulk up to be a heck of a SS....200+lbs

Explodes through his tackles very well....might have more explosion than Fields in and out of cuts....is that what you are thinking Wad45?
