Forget the Buckeye angle. Any list that tries to tell me there were 17-18 better football players than Dick Butkus and Jim Brown is just comical.

I'm biased, but I'd love to see Tommy Frazier on the list. Running the football doesn't get much better than this:

Jim Thorpe will be #1, and Red Grange will be in the top 5...

Archie, and Jim Brown definitely should be Top 10 without question, though.
Who gets #1 now?

I don't have an issue with Archie at #21, rather Jim Brown at #18 is the most glaring absurdity.
Reggie Bush and Vince Young are interesting cases because they're recent players. As time goes by, and another of these lists is done 10 or 20 years from now, I think Bush will be absent, but Young will remain in the Top-20. Those Texas teams were very good, but they weren't "great" or "loaded" or whatever you want to call it without VY. Young virtually beat Michigan and USC all by himself, delivering two of the single greatest Rose Bowl performances ever, and a national title. Really, without VY, those teams would've have been within 10 points of UM or USC (or OU or OSU, for that matter).

Clausen has 11 games under his belt now. Not sure if he's top ten, but he should be getting some consideration.
