Ohio State is going to win the national championship game and it isn't going to be as close as you think.

I expect it to be a good game, and I hope you're team feels that they will win by a large margin as well

I just think we can keep it close during the 1st half for TV. After that who knows...I'm not sure if we have the talent to line up and play the kind of smashmouth football game Ohio state is going to want to play...

The fact that Lou Holtz/Corso both said Ohio State has a good shot in winning is shocking to me. Corso really likes our running game which I don't blame him, but Herbie has not said anything bout Ohio State being 10 fold better than LSU. Herbie is very good at staying nuetral about certain games, especially big ones.

Yes that's what I'm trying to do...I hate that a lot of the early media buzz has been on our side so heavily. Hopefully Herbie, Corso and Holtz will swing it back in the other direction a little bit.

Well he already insinuated that OSU has more of a right to be in the BCSCG than we do please don't try to confuse us with your logic or previous examples of objective journalism, it won't work! Herbie lied about Miles to Michigan! The media hates LSU! It's all a conspiracy! argh!!

Herbie didnt lie...he reported factual info that many others also were ready to report...Saban...I mean Miles just backed out because he is a total dumbass

Now that's the spirit! I see a lot of y'all are pretty upset (rightfully) about some of the lack of respect you get from the talking heads this year. Well, there are two things to consider.

First, if Herbstreit, Corso or whoever disrespects your team, then you need to apply some pressure on them. Write them an angry letter or something. This LSU team we have this year is no better than any LSU team we've had since 2000. Yet, we'd never get any respect from Herbstreit, Corso, etc. So thousands of Tiger fans have written them thousands of death threats, promising to bomb their homes, etc. One Game Day at LSU, some angry Tiger fan tried to nail Corso in the head by throwing a golf ball at him. After that, the Game Day set had to surround itself within a big, protective net whenever it came to LSU. Anyway, I've noticed that after all the pressure that Tiger fans have put on Herbstreit, Corso, etc. to respect us or else, they have finally caved to the pressure. I mean it seems to me that LSU is now one of the most hyped teams in college football. Corso is practically an LSU fan now and Herbstreit warns all the new talking heads not to say bad things about SEC schools if they know what is good for their personal safety.

Second, if you don't feel like writing angry letters to the talking heads (I've never done it), then just realize that the talking heads are just entertainers. ESPN is the Entertainment Sports Network, not the Educational Sports Network. No educated college football fan cares what the talking heads think. Those guys are just up there to entertain, not educate... and they know it, too.

You know I actually thought the whining would have ended by now. Hopefully their stinking team feels the same way and gets whipped by Hawai'i.
