This isn't quite bulletin board material but it can be taken as a slight if you want. Kirk Herbstreit said he'd prefer Mizzou vs. WVU in the title game and that if it was tOSU-WVU it would be interesting to see the "power" of tOSU vs. the "speed" of WVU. Dance puppet, dance.

Well, look at the bright side.. southern speed is just a state away now. 
In unrelated news, the 2002 Hurricane's speed has now reached Plano Texas. Should be in Tempe in just a while longer.

I've been one of Herbie's defenders, but when he perpetuates the myth that Ohio State doesn't have speed, he does little to seperate himself from the other idiots out there.
Last time I checked, the NFL drafts for speed, not slow, plodding stiffs. Ohio State has more players drafted than either of those two combined twice over.
Who are West Virginia's NFL guys? Yeah, Pac Man Jones and Chris Henry. |

Enough. Is it not clear to you that we suck? We are slow, can't tackle, run bad routes, can't block... We're lucky just to be in Division 1. If the Big Ten wasn't so pathetic, we'd have to be in MAC. We have no tradition, are lucky to get anyone to come out to see our games, send no one to the NFL, have no Heisman winners, no All-Americans, our band sucks, and our coach is just a 1-AA coach.
We didn't deserve to be in any of the Fiesta Bowls in which we've recently played and should never have had the opportunity to play in a national chmpionship game, including the one we won on a bogus non-pass-interference call. Our record against the only team that matters is deplorable and we ought to be ashamed to wear The Red and Silver. In fact, we should just let President Gee dismantle the football program. Mark May and Lou Holtz are right, Just admit it and you'll feel so much better. What a huge relief. And one more thing...
Michigan still sucks and all the rest of them can kiss my ass.

I think his real agenda is a OSU vs USC Rose Bowl ... and that also plays into some "experts" wishes for a split title. |

Amy Lawrence was hosting All Night on espn radio friday night. She interviewed Pat Forde about the hunt for the NC. Chalk up another hater. She asked him about OSU's chances and he said, "I don't want to see Ohio State in the National Championship game after their showing last year." Freakin' moron.
Ryan Ruscillo said that he thought UGA would jump the Buckeyes if they won the SEC CG. That's not a slight on the Buckeyes, but the more I listen to these clowns the more I think they 'prognosticate' based on wishful thinking (with the exception of Herb and Robert Smith of course!)
Ruscillo interviewed Robert Smith about the BCS. He sounded completely bored of the whole discussion, and barely mentioned OSU. | |
