As regards pressure to perform - I think it is enormous. All the players have talked about since last season was the chance to get back to this game and atone for that performance. That they get the chance to do it versus the SEC makes the incentive stronger still?
Is that positive or negative? It can go either way. But there is no coach I trust more to make a positive from it than JT.

Ditto. The Buckeyes had a handful of guys playing through an array of injuries...

Pardon my ignorance here as it's probably already been addressed...
Will Dorsey be healed entirely? I remember hearing he had a knee problem then a back problem. What's the status on those issues as it relates to January 7th, will it heal?

Not sure how things are going to work out with Pellini, but it is my hope the DC position is filled in the next two weeks. Tenuta is definately a candidate, and if they are going to hire him, I'd like to see it go ahead and happen.
He has had both, but if he had the ability to play against Tenn, even if he really didn't, I would assume he would be ok for the National Championship Game.
LSU fans really aren't that bad of fans, although we are very zealous. Many Virginia Tech fans said they were surprised how well they were treated in Baton Rouge because of everything they had heard, but it was one of the better trips a lot had had to an opposing stadium.

Interested to hear the prognosis for Dorsey and also for Flynn, is his rotator cuff completely torn and will it be healed by the game or will Perrileaux (sp?) have to play.
Also, on the ESPN Bowl Selection Show they were discussing Pelini, the consensus was that he would become Nebraska's head coach and wouldn't be the DC for the game. If so, this has to be a huge blow to LSU, especially the psyche of the defensive players who wont have that familiar presence there at DC.

Re: Pelini...its good for OSU that the stability factor is gone....bad in that tendencies will be tough to grasp now.

yes, stability is gone, but in the short-term tendencies will be the same, i think, regardless of who is calling the plays. the worst thing Miles can do (besides not covering up that chia-pet hair of his) is to try and change all that up. it's not like Bo's going to take his playbook with him.
